This is a great parody to Battletoads. Very funny, and it asks the same question I've asked each time I played Battletoads - why the hell didn't they just BEAT THE SHIT out of the witch chick in the first place?

I'll be keeping an eye open for your stuff, this is the second or third thing I've watched today that made me laugh enough to scare my cat.

Amazing, but TOUGH

This game had me thinking quite a bit before I got everything straight, like having to move blocks and place them QUICKLY so the others wouldn't lose their balance. I think this was a great idea for a good puzzle game, somewhat similar to a reverse-Jenga game with odd-shaped blocks. Definitely loving this one.

You know, I always dreamed...

Always wanted to play Super Mario Bros. as Samus or Link. Mega Man and Bill were EPIC win additions, too. I just wish Simon weren't so difficult to control (Double jump is OK, but you can only control his jumps before each jump). Kinda wish he could do some damage, too. Even his flame whip can't take down a Koopa, and Fire Mario mows those down like you wouldn't believe.

Might want to tweak the time limit for characters other than Mario (the only one who can run, and even though Mega Man can slide to move faster he can't STOP until his slide is over) as well as their jumps to make things more possible in the mushroom or bridge stages.

One thing that's not the same is the ability to go back. Also, was Castle 4 not programmed the same as the original or did I just get it right on the first try? Both are differences I like, though, as I always HATED Castle 4 when I was younger.

What can I say? I'm addicted. If ever you decide to do Mario 3 in the same manner, I'll never leave the computer!

Good game, though a major headache

Loved the game, and the user-created content challenge is an awesome addition. My only problem is that the user-created content is, so far as I've seen, either a challenge to people with an IQ of 25 or a worse headache than the original game!

This song reminds me very easily of games like Gargoyle's Quest on the GameBoy and the NES, like a town theme in the ghoul realm or something. Nice bit of nostalgia there.

I appreciate the flow that this song has, by that I mean that it easily moves from one section of the song to another without any form of noticeable break. It works well musically too, the only thing I don't think quite matches up is the idea of a JRPG - this I think would fit much better with an American-style game, such as Halo or the Bionic Commando XBOX 360 game. Otherwise a very well-made piece of music, well done!

Contrary to what the tag says this song is not the BGM for the intro stage, rather it plays before the title screen appears.

Still a good remastering, though.
